INCUBATE is proud to be co-hosting the largest TEDxSydney Satellite event for 2013 at the University of Sydney with over 500 people expected.

We have some fantastic speakers and panel members who will be discussing entrepreneurship and it’s never been a better time to look at doing a startup.

Our morning talks

James Cooper-Stanbury: James is a Computer Science student at the University of Sydney and founder of Muro – a new photo sharing startup. James recently went through the INCUBATE program and is currently busy building the ‘next big thing’.

Professor Tony Weiss: Professor at The University of Sydney, startup company founder and serial inventor. He leads the world in making elastic tissue components that repair the human body.

‘Ideas Worth Starting’ Discussion Panel

Dr Russell J Howard: Originally from Melbourne, Russell ‘cut his teeth’ as a biochemist studying algae and then malaria before moving into biotechnology. As an entrepreneur, he built successful companies in California, from the startup stage to listing on the NASDAQ. He now resides in Sydney.

Whitney Komor: A recent Arts graduate from The University of Sydney, and Founder and CEO of TheBestDay. Whitney successfully raised $1.1 million in Series A funding and now has a team of four developing a new global platform for social planning and group bookings.
